Food Resources in Sainte-Marie

Following the announcement of the temporary closure of the IGA located near the Tours Frontenac, several organizations, institutions, elected officials and elected representatives of the Centre-Sud neighbourhood met to identify and highlight resources that could meet the needs of the residents of Sainte-Marie. On this page you will find a flyer that includes a list of community and commercial food resources in several languages.

Collaboration between community actors and the participation of IGA (Sobeys) have been key in the effort to find and implement solutions to meet the needs of neighborhood residents.

Already aware of significant food access issues in Centre-Sud and the impact of this closure on the population, community organizations have adapted their food services to be able to absorb an increase in requests for assistance generated by this closure.
