At the Carrefour solidaire, we are actively mobilizing with our many partner organizations to advocate for concrete food security measures that our community members deserve. As we wait for concrete actions from our different levels of government, community services remain essential for moving things forward and supporting our neighbours.
We need your support. Boldness and courage depend on all of us to be embodied and to spread. The immediate needs of our community members are acute, stemming from systemic issues and a broken system. Together, we will meet these needs while modeling exciting, innovative alternatives to the status quo, and while working over the long term to rebuild a fairer system for all.
We have invested in offering stable, diversified, and clever programming that reaches people where they’re at, so that each and every person can access the support they need. Balancing the pressures of inflation and the capacity of our team without diluting the quality of our services is a complex equation that we negotiate with ingenuity every day, in the face of growing demand.

We use Zeffy, a Quebec-based platform where 100% of your donation goes to us! In order to operate, Zeffy relies on the support of donors who can add a small extra amount to their donation to help it maintain its services. If you do not wish to participate, please choose Other from the drop-down menu in the Donation section, then enter $0. To minimize this cost, we suggest that you send us any donation over $500 by cheque.
Do you prefer to send a donation by cheque? Awesome! Here is the information you need:

- Mail your cheque to: 2385 rue Sainte Catherine Est, Montréal, QC, H2K 2J5
- Please let us know if you wish for a tax receipt (available for donations of 50$ or more).

- There are so many ways to fundraise – it can be as simple as baking a batch of muffins or cookies and offering them to your friends in exchange for their donations. Make sure to explain why the Carrefour solidaire’s work is so meaningful to you! Here’s a PDF document you can use to help spread the word!
- You can use our Zeffy page to collect donations, or we can make you a customized page just for your campaign.
- You can also do a simple fundraiser on Facebook. It’s pretty popular, especially for birthdays!
